Access to the slopes is by gondola from Flims Dorf, within walking distance of your hotel or a short, free shuttle ride. An alternative, by shuttle or by car, is the cable car from Laax .There is parking at the lift stations in Flims and Laax.
Beginner and confidence boosting intermediate runs are found at Nagens at 2127 metres and lower down just above the centre of Flims village.
Intermediates have a huge choice of long, wide, well maintained runs, radiating out from Crap Sogn Gion, including an amazingly long run, with a descent of over 1000 metres to Laax, and on some of the easier runs on the Vorab Glacier.
For expert & advanced level there are black runs from the top lift stations at Vorab and La Siala, and a steeper, more challenging direct route down to Laax from Crap Sogn Gion, as well as marked itineraries and freeride slopes
Boarders are very well catered for with Boardercross, half-pipes, freestyle and freeride areas.
In Flims you'll find typical Swiss apres-ski kicks off early, on the last run home or at the foot of the slopes, at outdoor bars with with music, drinks and snacks - or with cakes & coffee in a cafe. Later, or alternatively, there's skating, curling or tobogganing, or time to relax with a swim, sauna or Turkish bath.
After dinner, the Iglu and Legna bars are busy (sometimes very!) or try the cool Arena bar, before going downstairs to the Arean club where you can party on until the early hours.
Other lively bars are the Crap Bar in Laax (Crap means mountain in local dialect!) and the very cool lounge and club at the stylish and sophisticated Riders Palace, which hosts live bands and international DJ's throughout the winter.
