Prices for hotels with the same star rating can vary significantly between resorts and countries, and average prices do reflect this by showing a single price for hotels with different star ratings.
For example, some Swiss & Italian 3 star hotels are just as good value as 2 star hotels in France, whilst many 3 and 4 star hotels in the top French resorts cost as much as hotels in the next highest category in other countries.

HIGH: UK and continental European school holidays at Christmas, New Year and certain weeks in February & March,. There are variations by country, but mid to end February is usually the peak of high season.
MID: after New Year week until early February and after school holidays in February/March until the end of Easter week. Some variations by country & resort.

The average starting prices shown below will give you a very approximate idea of how much to expect - but please bear in mind, as the arrangements are flexible tailor-made prices do vary, especially when flights are heavily booked. Outbound on Thursday evening and back on Sunday evening and high season weekend to weekend flights are always very much in demand throughout the season and the lowest fares get booked up early.
